Curtis has >20 years’ experience in drug development and medicinal chemistry in both small biotech and academic settings. This includes >10 years at Aquinox Pharmaceuticals where he served as Director of Pharmaceutical Development, contributing leadership and technical expertise for CMC activities from early to late-stage development. Some niche expertise includes CRO/CDMO management, API and Drug Product manufacturing, Process Development, regulatory submissions and CMC documentation. Curtis has also held medicinal chemistry roles at AnorMed and Aquinox where he directed external teams and innovated drug discovery programs in virology, inflammatory pain and oncology.
